Artist from the Netherlands, Redmer Hoekstra creates unusual and imaginative drawings that delineate bizarre artwork. His incredible detailed illustrations are filled with irony and very wacky characters. He merges different vehicles and things with animals, books, birds, reptile’s keyboard etc. It is noteworthy that all the illustrations are harmonious and almost nothing seems unnatural.
Redmer Hoekstra says that some viewers believe his work is not devoid of humor, while others, on the contrary, a certain element of anxiety. Moreover, the sources of anxiety can be different. In any case, if it attracts attention – it means that something in his work is awesome.
