The University of Miami’s school “Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science” has been in existence for almost 65 years. Every year, RSMAS hosts an underwater photography contest for professional and non professional photographers. The inception of underwater photography is carry on since 2005. Each year, more than 400 images are included in this competition. Photographs are judged in 5 separate categories: Macro, Fish or Marine Animal Portrait, Student, Wide Angle, and Best Overall. The prize money from the competition is purely symbolic. Maximum check does not exceed $ 300. However, in addition, all winners will get the opportunity to visit the ship several beautiful places the Caribbean, where it will be possible to arrange an entire photo shoot forunderwater photography.
