Hyperrealistic Portraits of People by Simon Hennessey

Hyperrealistic Portraits
British artist Simon Hennessey loves to draw hyper-realistic portraits of people. Currently he is living and working in his native place Birmingham. In his latest portraits series, the depicted people are wearing glasses, in which you can see reflections of the famous places of the world.
Like other artists, Simon Hennessey is specialized in hyperrealism. He begins his work from a photo. However, instead of the usual copy, he adds or removes some features from photo to make it unique. Simon Hennessey plays with depth & textures, changes the colours of each figure and creates anunusual portrait of reality, which cannot be conveyed through photography. The artist writes; the photography is just a tool for him that helps him in gathering information.
