Last weekend, about a thousand bikers took part in the 5th annual Harley-Davidson rally at Qiandao Lake in Zhejiang Province, China. This event dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the manufacturer. Official sales of Harley-Davidson in China began in 2005. Motorcycles of this brand are considered luxury items and are subject to high taxes. The cost of motorcycle production in 2013 could reach 32 million U.S. dollars, which is roughly equal to the average annual salary of four Chinese.
